@hellen_vn 言葉の綾 is a common phrase of meaning just a little misunderstanding of a speech because it can be have both meanings.
綾 means a fabric with beautiful and a bit elaborated design.
This is used as metaphor and means like the complexity of the story makes different understanding of the context which sometime make someone uncomfortable though the speaker didn't mean to.
